Our Purpose

Bethesda Baptist Church exists to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ our Savior.  This is the purpose of our church because it is the purpose of every church; our mission, likewise, is the mission that Christ gave to all disciples from the very beginning, to preach the good news of the saving death and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ so that all who believe will be saved, and to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Our vision is to be a transformed community of disciples, shaped ever more into the likeness of our Lord."
